01 Who We Are

FRNTIR (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a vehicle recommendation and advisory service operating at frntir.com. Our recommendation engine is funded by buyer fees and operates independently of dealer, manufacturer, or lender influence. We provide car-matching and advisory services directly to consumers.

02 What We Collect

We collect information in two ways — what you give us directly, and what’s generated automatically when you use the site.

Information you provide:

• Your name and email address (required to deliver results and communicate with you)
• Your ZIP code (used to localize vehicle availability and pricing)
• Your quiz answers — budget, vehicle preferences, lifestyle needs, and priorities
• Any make, model, year, or mileage you enter on the fast-track path
• Payment information processed via Stripe — we never see or store your card details

Information generated automatically:

• A session ID assigned when you start the quiz — used to retrieve your results
• Basic usage data (pages visited, time on site) via anonymized analytics
• Standard server logs including IP address and browser type

03 How We Use It

We use your information only to deliver the service you asked for:

• Generating your AI vehicle recommendations via our automated matching system
• Emailing your results and any purchased reports to the address you provided
• Processing payments for paid tiers (Negotiation Package, Scout, Wrangler)
• Following up if you purchased a service that requires human involvement
• Sending time-limited upsell offers related to your specific results (you can opt out any time)
• Improving our matching algorithm and quiz questions over time

04 Who We Share It With

We share your data only with the services required to operate FRNTIR:

• Our database provider — where your results and session data are stored securely
• Our AI provider — powers our vehicle matching (your quiz answers are sent to their API to generate recommendations)
• Our workflow automation platform — orchestrates the quiz-to-results pipeline
• Our email delivery service — used to send your results and follow-up messages
• Stripe — our payment processor for any paid services (we never store card numbers)
• Dealers you authorize — if you hire a Wrangler or request us to contact a dealer on your behalf, we share only what’s needed to facilitate that transaction
• Affiliate partners — clicking affiliate links on our results page may pass you to third-party platforms where their own privacy policies apply (see Section 05)

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes beyond delivering the service.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

05 Affiliate Links

Our results page may include affiliate search links to third-party automotive platforms. Clicking these links may take you to external sites where their own privacy policies apply. We may receive a small referral fee if you click through — this does not affect which vehicles we recommend to you.

06 Data Retention

We retain your quiz results and session data for up to 12 months so you can return to your results using your original link. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required for financial record-keeping.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us — see Section 08 below.

07 Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal cookies and local storage to remember your session ID so your results page remains accessible during your visit.

We use the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure how effective our advertising is. This pixel records page views, checkout intent, and completed purchases so we can understand which ads bring in buyers who actually use FRNTIR. Meta may use this data to retarget you with ads on their platforms and to build advertising audiences, in accordance with Meta’s privacy policy. You can adjust your ad preferences or opt out at facebook.com/adpreferences, or use browser tools that block tracking pixels.

We also use Plausible Analytics for aggregate page-traffic measurement. Plausible does not use cookies and does not track individuals across websites.

If you use a browser that blocks cookies or tracking pixels, the site will still function — though you may need to use your results link directly rather than navigating back to it.

08 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Opt out of follow-up emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
• Withdraw consent for us to process your data (note: this may mean we can’t deliver your results)

09 Children’s Privacy

FRNTIR is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our service, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our service evolves. We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify users by email if we have your address on file. Continued use of FRNTIR after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
